Community Champions is a community health and wellbeing project putting residents’ voices at the heart of the action. We work across three areas in the Borough of Camden: Kilburn, Kentish Town and Regent's Park.
Our peer to peer projects and events engage residents, help them to understand what they can do for themselves, and ultimately, celebrate what is really great in the local community.
In other words, it’s run by the community, for the community.
“It has really helped being part of Champions during this period....We are kept really busy, meeting once a week and chats on a WhatsApp group where we can exchange ideas and coordinate efforts. It's great!"
Through the help of supporters we are able to help develop effective solutions for local areas, providing residents and communities with the forum, tools and resources to identify local issues and problems, and to design and lead their own solutions and initiatives.
