Cumberland Youth Club

Healthy Living Drop In
Organised by:
Regent's Park

We run weekly healthy living drop-in sessions at our Cumberland Youth Club every Monday evening 5-7pm for young people aged 8-16 held at HPOD in Cumberland Market.

Young people participate in fun activities to connect and socialise such as game consoles, board games and peer support activities. They can take part in health-related workshops such as cooking, nutrition, drug awareness, mental health issues, and sexual health. As part of our sport and exercise programme, young people participate in a wide variety of sports such as badminton, table tennis, football and more. When possible, the young people gain AQA accreditation in their skills! We also go on trips during the holidays and have been to Oxygen trampolining, Laser quest and Global generation skip garden previously.
Cumberland Youth Club is part of the Regents Park Community Champions programme to increase health and well-being
The club was closed during 2020 due to the pandemic but we stayed in touch with families, some receiving meals from our meal delivery with Bengali Workers Association and also received activity packs. You can still download the pack here Summer Activity Pack (no colouring) and see the gallery of some of our delivery day and favourite bits of the pack!
We really like working with the team - each week is different! Some weeks we have done cooking, mosaics, tie dye and there is always something active to do like badminton, table tennis or football
